Raquel Guerra develops work in the areas of production and curatorial mediation, collection management and the organization of artists' heritage.
In her work as a curator, Raquel Guerra uses poetry and dreaminess to address the subjects of her exhibitions, bringing together the works of well-known and celebrated artists as well as artists whose works must be worked on in a curatorial manner and reviewed in detail. critically in relation to the time that forgets, hides or ignores them.
She understands Art as one of the possible places to think about difference and to think about the circulation of counter-languages located in the artistic system, but thought beyond it.
Raquel Guerra développe des travaux dans les domaines de la production et de la médiation curatoriale, de la gestion des collections et de l'organisation des patrimoines des artistes.
Dans son travail de commissaire, Raquel Guerra utilise la poésie, l’onirisme pour traiter aborder les sujets de ses expostions, réunissant les oeuvres d’artistes connus et célébrés tout comme d’artistes dont les oeuvres doivent être travaillées de manière curatoriale et revues de manière critique par rapport au temps qui les oublie, les cache ou les ignore.
Elle entend l’Art comme l’un des lieux possibles pour penser la différence et penser la circulation des contre-langages situés dans le système artistique, mais pensés au-delà de celui-ci.
Raquel Guerra desenvolve trabalho nas áreas de produção e mediação curatorial, de gestão de coleções e organização de espólios de artistas.
Nas exposições que comissaria procura apresentar, por um lado, artistas que se enunciam dentro da atualidade e, por outro, artistas cujas obras necessitam de ser trabalhadas curatorialmente e revistas criticamente contra o tempo que as esquece, oculta ou ignora.
Entende a Arte como um dos lugares possíveis para se pensar a diferença e para se pensar a circulação de contra-linguagens situadas no sistema das artes, mas pensadas para além deste.
